ARE WE EATING TO LIVE OR EATING TO DIE? (PART I)

Have we ever wondered how our habits on the most simple things we do are connected to the conditions we face? The act of eating nutritious meals is something we must question ourselves about. It seems that we’re concerned with what might be global and communal problems concerning our everyday life. An example of such circumstances in the United States of America is the issue of gun control. As children are killed in educational institutions, we repeatedly are reminded of how the wrong people with bad intentions end up with deadly weapons. Not only do we see this issue in schools, but we also observe this occurrence in supermarkets, religious gatherings, and a wide variety of activities. The outrage we all express is shown continuously through media outlets, news, and undisciplined behavior which lead to problems we all must deal with on a societal level.

With such a ongoing crisis, it begs to reason how such a clear violation of people’s ability to measure their emotions, reality, and life’s ups and downs is out of control. It is unbelievable how homicide, murder, and outrageous acts of violence can continue in a so-called civil civilization.

So why are we discussing homicide, murder, and violence in association with food?
